The following item was sent to me over a decade ago when I first learned of the evilness of Christmas. When I read Jeremiah 10:2-5 all those years ago, I immediately responded (probably in a very loud voice) that there would be no more Christmas tree in my house. I may have been moving toward the tree as I said it. I climbed up in the attic, took the artificial tree down, got rid of it, and never possessed another one again and never decorated another one again even though I was invited to. Who are we going to serve--God or man?
And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, CHOOSE you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: BUT AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, WE WILL SERVE THE LORD." (ref. Joshua 24:15, emphases ours)
I do not want people to read the following article and the blasphemy of "Christmas." (I have decided to delete it. No one needs to be a toilet bowl for the devil's blasphemy--and there is much of it in "Christmas." No one needs a book on its evilness. We just need to start living the simple, upright, television-free, productive life in Christ.) We just need to repent of previous Christmas celebrations and television watching and start living uprightly and teaching our children at home.]
