WHAT IS THE KJV ONLY CONTROVERSY?

"The KJV Controversy" is essentially a title given to the contest being waged between two opposing forces--

Number 1: Those that contend for the retention of the Authorized Version of the Bible of 1611 which has served God's church for over four-hundred years. The Authorized Version is also known as the Authorized King James Version or "KJV". THESE PEOPLE REJECT ALL UNAUTHORIZED VERSIONS OF THE BIBLE.

Number 2: Those that contend for the entrance and acceptance of unauthorized versions of the Bible which now flood the marketplace.

Years ago, the book New Age Bible Versions, by Gail Riplinger, blew the lid off of what was happening in the new Bible versions...deletions, changes, etc. Although the book itself may have become somewhat controversial, at its heart--its detailing of the deletions and changes found in modern versions and the tendency toward which these things are moving--the book speaks for itself and to anyone looking for the truth of the matter.

The word, "sodomite" is not in the NIV (at least not the last time I checked...I somehow do not think that it will emerge in the NIV). It has been replaced--not with "homosexual" (or some other term) but with other terms that give no indication that being a sodomite is a sin. This section indicates what supporters of sodomite activity can do when the reference to the sodomite is deleted--they can deny that being a sodomite is a sin. What other sins can be wrongly 'legalized' utilizing this technique in unauthorized versions of the Bible?

[OUR NOTE: The unauthorized versions may not address the issues, but THE AUTHORIZED VERSION addresses every last one, hallelujah! Praise him all ye saints!

EVEN DOWN TO THE NAME OF THE BIBLE, GOD ALREADY HAD IT ALL COVERED--THE AUTHORIZED VERSION! ITS VERY NAME TELLS MEN WHICH BIBLE TO READ--THE AUTHORIZED ONE! From the foundation of the world, God already had all things covered for us to meet every exigency (demand, urgency) that would come upon us. God is still in control and shall continue to be--he neither slumbers nor sleeps; just hold fast to him until you get home. He knew the devil would attempt to replace the word of God (which thing shall not be done) with his own unauthorized productions (in the day of battle, those unauthorized versions cannot stand. One person who previously used the NIV testified, "The NIV Almost Killed My Faith in Christ!" THERE IS (AND ONLY CAN BE) ONE AUTHORIZED VERSION! GET THEE HENCE, SATAN).

The modern versions are unauthorized, and it seems that one cannot even find all the sins in them in the verses where the sins are supposed to be found--as if the unauthorized versions are for sinners. Revelation 13 teaches that one day, people will worship the beast and the dragon (that old serpent called the Devil and Satan) that gives the beast power. It appears that "No sins" Bibles are for sinners that cleave to the ruler of sinners--including those that are being tricked into worshipping him not realizing that their Bible is unauthorized. Each unauthorized version taking out sins is like a book for Satan's group so that they can make proclamations about what the Bible addresses and does not address and then get ignorant and unrighteous people to follow those unrighteous decrees.

The next sentence is somewhat long, I broke it up--

Just as an unauthorized version can erase the sin of the sodomite by deleting the words pertaining to the sodomite (it is just a matter of removing some words), and individuals can say that their Bible does not address the sodomite so the Bible need not be consulted,

an unauthorized version (by typing in some words) can make sins by inserting words pertaining to the righteous. Then, with a few keystrokes, a word like "divisive" (one of those catchwords that make the truth teller look like someone trying to break the peace) becomes a sin. Then the "thought leaders" for the "sins" church can say that their Bible does address divisiveness as a sin and needs to be obeyed. Ignorant people who do not know that their Bible is unauthorized can think that being "divisive" or "legalistic" is a sin but doing whatever they feel like doing is fine.

When men can make up anything they want to and call it a Bible, and people listen to them, the people are in incalculable trouble. This is happening. The leadership of the visible church gets to talking about "the Greek" and "the manuscripts" and how the Bible "really" means this or "really" means that and the people are just listening and receiving this subversive, ruinous speech. In the end, the people disbelieve the word of God and trade the word of truth for the word of man, but not only that, they are actually calling the word of man the word of God and "the Bible". Man's word is not God's word. The word of man is the word of man--and that is where Satan thrives. Satan savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men (ref. Matthew 16:23).

*The heart of man is deceitful above ALL things and desperately wicked

*The imagination of man's heart is only evil continually.

People to who listen to the proclamations of man in the unauthorized versions are in big trouble. They have literally put the words of men for the word of God and are living according to the proclamations of man. They may hang on for a while with the old authorized doctrine that they learned by hearing it or reading it when they had that doctrine before them, but they cannot necessarily find it in the unauthorized versions they now possess. The preachers will preach out of the unauthorized versions, and, in time, the true doctrine will be replaced with the unauthorized doctrines, whatever they may be. The Bible prescribes woe unto them that take up the wrong side of this contest, that put the bitter (in this case, the unauthorized versions of the Bible) for sweet and the sweet (the Authorized version) for bitter.

Isaiah 5:18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:

19 That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

[1] Our note: This is a lie for the sodomite certainly gets a whole sentence in the New Testament in the Authorized Version. In Romans 1:18-32 (the speaker is the apostle Paul--he spake as he was moved by the Holy Ghost, reference II Peter 1:20-21), we read of how the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness and we see the sodomite specifically addressed in a "whole" sentence in Romans 1:26-27 (and the sodomite is mentioned with other sinners elsewhere in Romans 1, I Corinthians 6:9 (effeminate, abusers of themselves with mankind)...). Here is the Romans passage with a focus on the "whole" sentence specifically concerning sodomites.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Perhaps the sodomite is not found in the unauthorized versions (but that is no surprise because they are unauthorized) but he is clearly seen in the Authorized Version.]

He intimated that other members of the NIV translation committee were also quietly supportive of ECI [Evangelicals Concerned Inc.--founded in 1976 by New York psychologist, Dr. Ralph Blair, as a nation-wide task force and fellowship for gay and lesbian 'evangelical Christians' and their friends.], but he was not able to tell me who they were (for obvious reasons). He later called them 'bigger' names than Dr. Woudstra."

Why isn't the word "sodomite" in the NIV?



Final note: The modern versions are unauthorized, so no irregularity should be surprising, e.g. the ommission of the word "sodomite" in an unauthorized version of the Bible. Given that man is involved, ONE SHOULD EXPECT MORE ABOMINATIONS IN THE DAYS TO COME. One need not know or research or read about all the grievous irregularities, heresies, and blasphemies; it is a shame to speak of those things done of the wicked in secret. Instead, by God's grace, his people can go forth with strength and confidence in God doing the work that he has called them to do.


IN A WORLD OF HERESY

In these last times, wherever the saints look, they experience grief.

All of the foundations of the earth are out of course. Psalm 82:5

One area of grief is the Bible version issue. Today many people are speaking and writing against the Authorized Version. There is only one Bible known as the Authorized Version. It is commonly known as the Authorized King James Version or the King James Version (KJV). People who speak against the KJV will use any trickery they can in order to turn people away from the Authorized Verison. One man tried to compile every word in the KJV that he could not personally understand, which was quite underhanded. Many times we read books and articles and come across new words, but this causes us no problem because we read the words in context. When I got saved, I had no problem reading the KJV. When people would ask me what a word meant, I could pretty much immediately give them the definition of it because I had read the word in context and context taught me. People like James White and Bob Ross have been heavily and mightily used of Satan to make people accept any Bible version on the market as true. People like these men take down walls and there is no protection for people who ignorantly believe them. The King James Bible has been the holy Bible for almost 400 years and now all of a sudden every abomination that comes on the market is true. I recently read about a counterfeit Bible that says that fornication is okay. I have read excerpts of H.G. Wells who was used of Satan to help bring about a Luciferian age. He called for a new Bible version. In his book, "The Salvaging of Civilization: A Probable Future of Mankind," published in 1921 he had two chapters entitled, "The Bible and Civilization." He said that the world needed a new Bible with all the same books in it--including Leviticus and Deuteronomy--but with the new [wicked] understandings. He was calling for a new Bible about 90 years ago, and the Luciferian agents have been delivering. Wells' book is online for all to see, but I am not recommending it.

With the proclamations of James White, Bob Ross and others, the flood gates are open for a soft, effeminate, sinful church to receive these Satanic counterfeits. Satan has used these men mightily.

Time does not seem to diminish men's zeal to attack the Authorized Version, but we must remember that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against powers and principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The attack against the Authorized Version of the Bible is an attack launched and sustained by the god of this world--he was destroyed at Calvary and he knoweth that he hath but a short time--in the time that remains, he and his agents seek to remove the law of God and to replace it with something else (anything else) so that all that men are left with are lies--and Satan is the father of the lie.

The KJV Only issue does not rest on the shoulders of a single person or their perfection--not Gail Riplinger, Peter Ruckman, William (Bill) Grady, Jack Hyles, Samuel Gipp, or any other person. I am grateful for persons who have sounded the alarm and drawn my attention to this grievous state of affairs, but my adherence to the King James Bible is not based on them or their scholarship. It is based on the fact that these unauthorized versions and unauthorized and alter the Bible in many abominable ways. See, What spirit is behind the new Bible versions?

WHO DISMISSES THE KJV ONLY CONTROVERSY?

From my perspective, the KJV Only issue is dismissed by these kinds of people:

  • ignorant ones who have never examined the issue and decided against the King James Bible without any study of the issue. They grab on and latch on to the proclamations of the experts. Their teachers, friends, false preachers, pastors, "scholars," authors, reverends, etc.
  • ones, who at some point, were somewhat convinced that the KJV was right but then caved into peer pressure, preachers, or the writings of "scholars," authors, etc. All it takes is a single conversation for these double minded individuals. They are unstable.
  • those who read or heard about New Age Bible Versions by Gail Riplinger and felt that they found some fault with its research or author and decided that "KJV Onlyism" is of no account--instead of just looking at the information. (New Age Bible Versions by Gail Riplinger enlightened my eyes with specific collation of verses; the dark side that it uncovers (concerning those who follow Satan) I could but glance at and do not wish to see again.)
  • the prideful. Modern, industrialized, civilized man is terribly prideful--especially Americans, we do not want to be wrong. My aunt got mad because I told her to look up Acts 8:37 in her new age "Bible." Of course, she could not find it. Instead of investigating to learn more, she got mad. Are you like that? In order to be wise, you have to become a fool and learn everything all over again (ref. I Cor 3:18). These are the days of apostasy. You cannot expect to find the truth in the visible church building. I don't know of ONE good church (not to say that one does not exist somewhere in the world) The church consists of individual Christians. We are the church. We have to study the word and watch the times for ourselves and not rely on others).
  • heretics and infidels of all sorts (these are the ones that write the books and websites and give the interviews found on "Christian" websites, radio and tv shows. They write the articles for the "Christianity" magazines). One young church girl found herself a freshman in college. Her teacher was speaking against the Bible and said, "And out of all the Bibles, the King James Bible is the worst!" Why did he say this? Because Satan knows that the Authorized King James Bible is the right Bible.

    church sinners that have no relish for the Authorized Version and find their taste satisfied with an unauthorized version.

YOU ARE NOT SHOCKED?

I found shocking and enraging the deletions and changes that Gail Riplinger exposed in New Age Bible Versions. I even gathered together a collection of modern corruptions in order to write against them (my little daughter did not even want to touch them and I threw them away as they had served their purpose). KJV ONLY ADVOCATES

I perceive that many KJV Only advocates are NOT saved. The KJV Only issue is a political issue for them. That's how it is for a lot of these Baptist preachers. Many are very prejudiced and do not hide that fact. Meanwhile they constantly defend and preach about the KJV Only while being disobedient and holding on to pet heresies like dispensationalism.

AN UNEXPECTED FRUIT OF STUDYING THE AUTHORIZED VERSION

I have discovered an amazing fruit of having the Authorized King James Version in hand and heart--a Biblical scholarship, one which is literally impossible with any other Bible version--no exceptions. The website BiblicalScholarship.net gives insight into this phenomena. The following is excerpted from the BiblicalScholarship.net home page--

Babies can read as a matter of course, three year olds can read, and understand, the Authorized Version, four year olds can add four digit numbers, and a child's baseline education can be completed before seven years of age when utilizing the Authorized Version in a sanctified homeschool...

ONLY ONE BIBLE WILL PRODUCE BIBLICAL SCHOLARSHIP

Only the real Bible will produce Biblical Scholarship--the Authorized (King James) Version of the Holy Scriptures. No other Bible version will work in Biblical Scholarship because the modern versions, written by modern deceived man, are not the word of God. Those so-called "archaic" words found in the Authorized Version are not archaic; they can be found in every domain today--if you are looking.

When the NIV changes the warp and the woof of Leviticus 13:48 to "woven or knitted material" you can never figure out how material is made. You won't even stop to think about it--all you can do is go to the store and buy a woven or a knitted garment. With the warp and the woof of the King James Bible, on the other hand, you can talk to the weaver who may tell you that they now call it the warp and the weft (but it will always be the warp and the woof to you). This actually happened to me--and not just in the area of weaving, but across all kinds of disciplines. As a result of Biblical Scholarship, you and your children can talk to anybody and judge methods--whether they be good or corrupt.

Those ROBUST, PRECISE WORDS of the Authorized Version form a CRYSTAL CLEAR roadmap out of the wreckage of modern, machine life BACK to ancient understandings, ancient manhood, ancient womanhood, ancient childhood. We are NOT the same people as the ancients. We are weak-minded and dependent on somebody else for every morsel of food that we eat. May each true disciple turn off that filthy tv FOREVER, recover himself from the snare of the devil, and walk in the light of God's word.
